Colloquy of Mobiles
Completed 2018
Created for TJ McLeish
Colloquy of Mobiles is a full-scale replication of a 1968 installation by Gordon Pask. The original was part of an exhibition called Cybernetic Serendipity at the Institute for Contemporary Art in London and used lights and sensors to create an exploration of machine-to-machine and person-to-machine conversations in an interactive, immersive environment. The replica was done by TJ McLeish for the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Building Brown Workshop contributed the fiberglass shells.
