Designed and Fabricated by Building Brown Workshop for Borderless Studio and Chicago United for Equity

The Community Budgeting Board and Stools were commissioned as part of the People’s Budget Chicago, an initiative to have direct conversations with Chicagoans from neighborhoods that might not have their voices heard in the city’s typical engagement around the budget. The People's Budget bus traveled to at least nine South and West Side communities including Austin, Roseland, and South Lawndale.
