The Mobile Street Art Cart is a project that brings collaborative, community-relevant art-making to the streets of Chicago’s neighborhoods. Inspired by the ice cream carts and food vendor carts in Little Village and elsewhere, William’s workshops are accessible, communal, and justice-centered. After over a decade with the original design of the Mobile Street Art Cart, William commissioned Building Brown Workshop to design and create a new and improved cart now informed by years of walking, biking, and hauling this workshop all across Chicago and beyond.
